USHA GOKANI VISIT TO AP & TELANGANA
Usha Gokani is Mahatma Gandhi's Grand-daughter. She is the daughter of Mahatma's third Son, Ramdas Gandhi and Nirmala Gandhi. She was the Chairperson of Gandhi Smarak Nidhi, Mumbai. She is a Social worker and propagates Gandhian Values. Gandhi King Foundation invited Usha Gokani and organized programs in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States.
NALLAJERLA, WEST GODAVARI DISTRICT, ANDHRA PRADESH
Allada Ramakrishna from Nallajerla in West Godavari Distirct associated with Sarvodaya Movement is propagating Gandhian Values among School Children. Sri Indukuri Prasada Raju who worked as District Education Officer of the District and other Sarvodaya Leaders of the District, Jagarlamudi Narasimha Rao, Dr. Satya Pratap Raju, DVVS Varma, D. Manorama, Gattim Manikyala Rao, Yerra Radhakrishna Murthy supported the program in a big way. Gandhi King Foundation extended all its support to the program of taking Gandhi to Students.
Gandhi Contest was organized in the schools of the District with the involvement of the District Administration - Education Department. The District Education Office, Mandal Education Officers, School Headmasters participated with enthusiasm in this program covering one hundred thousand students in the District. The winners of the Contest and all the participants were given prizes and certificates of participation.
