2024 Nobel Peace Summit Monterrey Mexico
THE SUMMIT
The 19th Nobel Peace Summit was held in Monterrey, Capital City of the State of Nuevo Leon in Mexico on September 18-21
The Summit was organized by 'The Permanent Secretariat of the World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates', founded by Michael Gorbachev, the then President of the USSR. The Permanent Secretariat s celebrating 25 years of its founding in 2024.
INTRODUCTION
The Permanent Secretatiat of the World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates was established in 2006 promoting the legacy, knowledge and work of Nobel Peace Laureates
GANDHI KING FOUNDATION, INDIA is a Partner Organization of the Permanent Secretariat and organizes Secretariat Programs in India and participated in three Nobel Peace Summits in 2019 in Merida Mexico, 2022 in South Korea, and now 2024 in Monterrey, Mexico. Gandhi King Foundation organized a Workshop on 'Nonviolent Agriculture for Global Peace and another on Youth Speaking to Gandhi. GKF participation was with a delegation of 30 persons from India, South Africa and the USA.
